Long-hitting Bubba Watson, 2010 U.S. Ryder Cup captain Corey Pavin, Justin Rose, Paul Goydos and Rod Pampling have committed to play in the Travelers Championship June 25-28.
Watson, 30, who tied for second at the Quail Hollow Championship in Charlotte, N.C., is first on the PGA Tour in driving distance (313.3 yards). He tied for sixth in last year's Travelers.
Pavin, 49, will make his 17th appearance in Cromwell, where he lost in a playoff to Billy Ray Brown in 1991 and tied for 10th last year.
Rose, who went 3-1 in his first European Ryder Cup appearance last year, was third in Cromwell in 2005 and tied for ninth in 2007.
Last year, Goydos lost The Players Championship in a playoff to Sergio Garcia. Two weeks ago, Goydos tied for third at the Texas Open. Pampling, a two-time tour winner, has five top-25 finishes this year.
